Chad entered the Air Force in October of 2002. He attended basic training in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Air Force Base. After basic training, he attended Technical School in Wichita Falls Texas at Sheppard Air Force Base (The Red River Valley). After training, he was stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota. Chad was promoted to an "In Flight Crew Chief" for the KC-135 Strat-o-tanker. Chad was Stationed in Grand Forks for 2 years and during which time he traveled to many places overseas and also here in the States.
He is currently stationed at Offutt AFB in Omaha Nebraska working as a Flying Maintainer (Crew Chief) on the RC-135 (Rivet Joint) Reconnaissance Aircraft.

Chad has been in Nebraska for 2-1/2 years with his wife Andrea and their two children, Karrigan and Keegan.
Karrigan will be 7 in December and started first grade this year. Keegan will be 5 in September and started Kindergarten this year.
